Draw and paint these wonderful early flowers in their varous colours and forms.

February - Sat 11th - Beginners
Learn my step by step methods to create a small Botanical Illustration

March - Sat 10th & Sun 11th - Illustrating Flowers and Bulbs
Enjoy illustrating the flowers and bulbs of the Spring Garden including root systems.

March - Sat 24th - Coloured Pencil Workshop
Try different makes of pencils and papers. Learn the techniques of this alternative medium.

April - Sat 14th & Sun 15th - Painting Leaves and Mixing Greens
This weekend covers popular greens and how to mix them. Attention to form, venation and surface modelling.

May - Sat 19th & Sun 20th - Bluebells, Primroses and Violets.
This popular weekend starts with a walk through the breath-taking bluebell wood then back to the studio to study and paint.

June - Sat 9th and Sun 10th - Illustrating English Roses
Choose, pick and paint one of many beautiful blooms

 

The studio is surrounded by established gardens and native woodland, to inspire and delight all those who visit White Hollows.

Accommodation is available locally for those enjoying longer courses at White Hollows Studio, see below.

All classes and courses are held at White Hollows Studio, except evening classes which are held at The Thomas Cook Memorial Hall, High Street, Melbourne. See MAPS here.

Booking Conditions
Deposits: £30 for 2 day courses / £20 for 1 day course
For evening, morning and afternoon classes the full amount is required.

One to One days can be arranged at £150 per day, deposit £50.

Please note that a place on a course or class will only be confirmed with a completed booking form and payment of deposit (or full amount where necessary). A £10 deposit will reserve a place on any of the classes (not courses) through the year.

Please bring a packed lunch for one or two day courses. All drinks, biscuits and cakes are included in the cost.
Also, please bring suitable footwear for collecting subject matter from the woods.

As seasons change from year to year, it may not be possible to use the subject matter stated on various courses. In such and event, alternatives will be provided.

Please Note
If a course or class is cancelled by the tutor, a full refund or alternative course will be given.
If a course or class is cancelled by the student, the student can arrange for another person to take their place in the class or course. Please notify the tutor and student.
All deposits are non-refundable unless cancelled six weeks prior to the course commencing.
